Mary was born December 10, 1675 in Northampton, Hampshire Co., MA., the daughter of James and Mary (Broughton) Bennett. Mary married before 1697 to John Field, son of Zechariah and Sarah (Webb) Field. John was born December 8, 1673 in Deerfield, Hampshire Co., MA and died February 17, 1717/18 in Coventry, Windham Co., CT.

This family were victims of the Deerfield Massacre of 1704, an event in history that I hope to do more research about.
