Today I sourced the census data for the John W. Cunningham family in the 1900 census of Madison Twp., Jay Co., IN. John Cunningham was my 1st cousin 3 times removed, the son of William E. and Rachel (Lemasters) Cunningham.
John was a school teacher, living in the town of Salamonia, and he and wife Leona had been married for 6 years. They had 3 children, only 2 of whom were living by the 1900 census.
