This SMITH family tombstone in the Salamonia Cemetery, Jay County, Indiana is near the tombstone of my SMITH relatives, but I do not know yet if there is a connection. I went ahead and photographed it just in case it turns out that we are related.

I take photos of stones with my family names too, just in case! Too many times, I have discovered later that a distant relative was in the same cemetery I had visited previously and I missed them. I think I have learned my lesson!
