Edward Finel. There isn't any proof that Edward Finel died in Granville let alone marry Sarah Green. Nobody has ever found out where was born or died or what country he originally came from. Sarah did have a young boy with her by the name of Edward Finel, but there isn't any proof that he was her child.AHNENTAFEL # 364 has this all wrong.

There aren't any records to prove that Edward Finel married Sarah Green or died in Granville, MA. If he did marry her, why did she still have her maiden name when she married Peter Gibbons? There are records of Sarah being with a yung child, that being Edward Finel. Check the records, they are out there as proof of the marriage of Sarah and Peter.

As far as I have ever found out, there are only three remaining direct desendents to the original Edward Finel. My cousin still has the original surname. He is the last of the line. My surname had changed in the early 1800's to Fennell. My son will be the last to carry on that surname.
