Arthur was born January 3, 1885 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN, the son of Johannes Heinrich and Emilie (Deutsch) Wild. Arthur married October 14, 1908 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN., to Anna Magdalena Damm, the daughter of Frederick and Wilhelmina (Schneider) Damm. Anna was born January 21, 1882 in Browns, Wabash Co., IL., and died March 4, 1967 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN. Arthur died October 26, 1966 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN.

Arthur WILDT b. January 30, 1885 Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN., d. October 26, 1966 Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN., m. October 14, 1908 in Vanderburgh Co., IN to Anna Magdalena DAMM.

Johannes Heinrich WILD b. September 15, 1851 Laisa, Beidenkopf, Hesse-Darmstadt, d. August 18, 1896 Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY., m. February 26, 1874 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN to Emilie DEUTSCH.

Judson Jarrett

Found some possible new ancestry information for my daughter's Jarrett line last night online.

1880 Census of Jefferson Twp., Fayette Co., IA shows Katie Jarrett, age 14, living in the household of Judson Jarrett, age 72, born Virginia. The names of the other children line up perfectly with what I had on Kate Jarrett who married Henry Miguet in Buchanan Co., IA.

Later I found information on Judson Jarrett family in the 1856 state census of Iowa in Fayette Co., IA, and in 1850 census in Koscuisko Co., IN. The Iowa WPA cemetery database has Judson buried June 13, 1881 in Fayette Co., IA.

Still working on the putting the details together to try and tie this line into what I already have.

Kate Jarrett and Henry Miguet were married December 23, 1883 in Buchanan Co., IA. Their son, Frank Field Miguet, was my daughter's 2nd-great grandfather.

Edward was born December 12, 1863, the son of George F. and Agnes Barbara (Hoffher) Sauer. Edward married on September 26, 1888 in Vanderburgh Co., IN to Amelia M. Ritt, daughter of Karl Louis and Anna Maria Louisa Catherine (Kahre) Ritt. Amelia was born May 31, 1866 and died May 22, 1938 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN. Edward died November 21, 1909.

Today's featured relative in my database is my daughter's 4th-great grandfather, Johann Jacob Deutsch.

Johann was born December 11, 1821 in Klein Engersen, Saxony and married before 1848 to Doris Elisabeth Schutte. Doris was was born in 1827 in Klein Engersen and died June 10, 1903 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN. Johann died in September 30, 1863.

Johann and family emigrated to the United States about July 1854 to New Orleans, LA. During the Civil War, he first enlisted [conscripted?] into the Confederate army, and then on June 24, 1862 enlisted in Co. D, 13th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry in the Union army.

Doris remarried as her second husband to John M. Doelitsch between 1863-1866. John was born circa 1824 in Saxony and died after 1870 census.

Amelia was born August 6, 1890 in Vanderburgh Co., IN, the daughter of Edward J. & Amelia M. (Ritt) Sauer. Amelia married Frank Field Miguet. Frank was born November 1885 in Iowa, the son of Henry & Katherine (Jarrett) Miguet. Frank died January 28, 1954 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN. Amelia died September 25, 1974 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN. Both are buried in the Meyer Lutheran Cemetery, Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN.

My daughter is descended from Frank & Amelia's daughter, Miriam, who married Edward Ferdinand Wildt.
