Lyndsey Canaday (1829-1920), Wayne County, Indiana

Working on filling in some gaps in my database by utilizing the "Indiana Marriages, 1811-1959" database at Familysearch.org to see what updates and corrections I could find.

Lyndsey Canaday (1829-1920), was the son of Robert Canaday and Sarah Sumner.  His marriage license to Mary Elizabeth Gibson on October 27, 1856 in Wayne County, Indiana was found in the database.  There was no return of the marriage.  Prior to this find, I did not have any potential dates for their marriage. Lyndsey's surname is also spelled Kennedy in the record.

Lyndsey was my maternal 3rd cousin 6 times removed.  Our common ancestors were John Beals and Sarah Bowater.  Lyndsey and Mary raised four children in Wayne County, Indiana.
