To church morn & evening. In P.M. went with Waymons to Galens. [Waymon & Carrie Thornburg, Galen & Mary Miller - Vera's sisters] Was a nice winter day. Clarence 77 years young today.
1969 - February 4th - Tuesday
Ironed and baked cup cakes, took some to Pauls. C. went to have tax papers made out I went to see Betty. Clara Zimmerman died this A.M.
1970 - February 4th - Wednesday
Still having real winter. We didn't go to prayer meeting. I baked a cake. C's birthday.
1971 - February 4th - Thursday
Just a glare of ice today. Roy Johnson here for dinner & supper. Could only drive about 5 mi. per hr. Mail man came at 1 o'clock. No school today. Ruth Cook called this eve. C's Birthday

Vera Delphene (Haley) Stuber was born 10 March 1890 in Jay County, Indiana, daughter of Eli Weldon & Cora Belle (Metzner) Haley. She married 14 February 1915 in Jay County, Indiana to Clarence Leroy Stuber. Vera died 17 June 1987 in Portland, Jay County, Indiana. Clarence was born 4 February 1891 in Jay County, Indiana, son of Henry and Margaret (Metzger) Stuber. Clarence died 20 May 1981 in Portland, Jay County, Indiana. They had no surviving children.
