1724: Isaiah MAXSON born in Westerly, Rhode Island.  Isaiah was the son of John MAXSON and Hannah MAXSON.


1755: Benjamin MILLIKAN born in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Benjamin was the son of William MILLIKAN and Jane WHITE.


1763: William PATRICK born.  William was the son of John PATRICK and Janett McPHEETERS.


1768: Charlotte HAINES born in Burlington County, New Jersey.  Charlotte was the daughter of Robert HAINES and Rachel VENICOMB.

1818: Rebekah JOHNSON married William JESSOP.  Rebekah was the daughter of Tarlton JOHNSON and Sarah MILLS.

1820: Sarah Springer CHEW born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.  Sarah was the daughter of Elisha Dunham CHEW and Elizabeth HERITAGE.


1823: Joseph WRIGHT married Matilda DRISHELL in Brown County, Ohio.  Joseph was the son of Robert WRIGHT and Catherine APPLEGATE.

1842: Judson JARRETT married Jane WOODS in Koscuisko County, Indiana.  He was Corinne's 4x great-grandfather.


1843: Clarissa A. WELCH died.  Clarissa was the daughter of Lucas WELCH and Alma PIERCE.


1852: Mary A. HENDRIXSON born in New Hope, Ohio.  Mary was the daughter of Allen HENDRIXSON and Sarah Ann WRIGHT.


1853: Hannah MILLS born.  Hannah was the daughter of Aaron MILLS and Catherine FARMER.

1891: John Calvin SWAFFORD died in Richmond, Missouri.  John was the son of Aaron SWAFFORD and Elizabeth SWAFFORD.


1899: James Alfred KING married Rosie M. DILL.  James was the son of Daniel KING and Elizabeth SHAW.


1901: Michael Fleenam LUARK died in Chehalis County, Washington.  Michael was the son of John LUARK and Catherine WARNER.


1914: Carl CHIVLARE married Lorena GRIM in Vanderburgh County, Indiana.  Carl was the son of Alpha Revis CHIVLARE and Clara Belle FOLLOWAY.


1915: Charles William RITT born in Vanderburgh County, Indiana.  Charles was the son of Edward G. RITT and W.E. KUEHN.


1940: Reuben C. CUMMINS died in Maury County, Tennessee.  Reuben was the son of Lindsey CUMMINGS and Caroline RUSH.

Obituary : Clara (Moulton) Metzner

METZNER - Clara Metzner, nee Moulton, was born Sept. 30, 1843 and departed this life near Portland, Ind., July 4, 1899, aged 55 y., 9 m. and 3 d.  She was married to Adam Metzner Nov. 13, 1864; to this union were born 4 children.  In 1885 Bro. and Sister Metzner united with the Evangelical Association.  They lived as devoted Christians until death.  A son and daughter are left to mourn the loss of a Christian mother.  The husband and 2 children preceded her in death.  J.M. SMITH.

Clara Moulton (1843-1899) was the daughter of Albert and Emeline (PHILBRICK) MOULTON, believed to have been born in Licking County, Ohio.  Her marriage to John Adam Metzner took place in Jay County, Indiana.  The names of their children were: Cora Belle, Willis A.L., Wesley F., and Lewis.  Her husband died December 4, 1895.  The surviving children were Cora and Wesley.  Jay County Death records list her death date as July 2, 1899.
