This record of the marriage of Jacob Haley and Lydia J. May was located at the Jay County Historical Society in Portland, Indiana.
Though parts of the record were a bit hard to read in the copy, I was able to gain some information I didn't have before, particularly being able to connect Jacob with the family of Sebastian and Lydia (Rader) Haley. Before this, I had their marriage as an unidentified Haley in Jay County.
Another avenue of research is to find out if the bride connects with my Young family in Noble Township as well.
