1676 - Katherine NYE died in Sandwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.  Katherine was my 10x-great grandmother.


1682 - Benjamin PIERCE born in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.  Benjamin was the son of Stephen PIERCE and Tabitha PARKER.


1700 - Margaret HAINES born.  Margaret was the daughter of William HAINES and Sarah PAINE.


1700 - Eliza REED born.  Eliza was the daughter of George REED and Abigail PIERCE.


1762 - Neeltje GROENENDYKE born in Kingston, Middlesex County, New Jersey.  Neeltje was the daughter of Johannes GROENENDYKE and Sarah Ann LAKE.


1762 - Hannah HILLYARD born in Burlington County, New Jersey.  Hannah was the daughter of Isaac HILLIER and Sarah HAINES.


1777 - Michael SILLS born in Bedford County, Pennsylvania.  Michael was the son of Michael SILLS and Barbara RHOADES.  Michael was Eileen's 4x-great grandfather.


1797 - James GROENENDYKE married Joannah ANTONIDES.  James was the son of Nicholas GROENENDYKE.  Joannah was the daughter of Pieter ANTONIDES and Catherine VANDERVEER.  They were my 5x-great grandparents.


1801 - Alfred Allen SWAFFORD born.  Alfred was the son of Thomas SWAFFORD and Nellie HOWARD.


1802 - Johannes "John S." WEHRLY born in York County, Pennsylvania.  Johannes was the son of Heinrich WEHRLY and Christina SAUBEL.  Johannes was 3x-great grandfather.


1815 - Nancy FISHER born in Ohio.  Nancy was the daughter of Daniel FISHER and Susannah REEVES.


1829 - Rachel SMITH married Thomas TRIMBLE.  Rachel was the daughter of William SMITH and Hannah THOMPSON.

The ELLIOTT surname is in my paternal line.  The origins of the surname are unknown at this time.


Stories and history :


Ahnentafel # 77 : Jane Elliott (c1792-aft1860).  Jane was born circa 1792 in Georgia.  She married circa 1812 to Jacob Smith (c1792-1866).  Jacob was born circa 1792 in New Jersey.  Jacob died October 18, 1866 in Hardin County, Iowa.  Jane died sometime after the 1860 census, when she was enumerated in Eldora Township, Hardin County, Iowa.
