Putting my birthday present subscription at
Ancestry.com to good use, I've managed to locate the record of my maternal great-grandfather's World War II Draft Registration.

No surprises here in the information given, but very cool to have a copy of his signature on the card. Another source to confirm his date and place of birth - and full name of his wife. His address at R.R.# 2 later became R.R. # 4 when I was growing up, now with the enhanced 911 the addresses all list the county road.

Wish that I only weighed 160 lbs! I'm glad that there are records such as these that give a physical description.
