Wordless Wednesday: Married 63 Years

My maternal 4th-great grandparents, John T. BEALS and Mary DAVIS, were married April 19, 1848 in Westfield, Hamilton County, Indiana.  John was the son of Nathan C. and Elizabeth (CHEW) BEALS.  Mary was the daughter of John W. and Mary (BARKER) DAVIS.  This undated news clipping was given to me by a fellow researcher.

Thank heaven for ancestors who proved that marriages can last! They set a high standard for us!

Hi, if you don't mind, I would like to include this in our collection at the Westfield Washington Historical Society & Museum - in Hamilton Co Indiana.

I am the Curator there and of course I am very interested in all Beals/Bales information.
