I recently found mention of my maternal grandfather, William WRIGHT, in the local newspaper during his time of service in World War II.

WRIGHT IS TRANSFERRED
Pvt. William Lee Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Wright, of this city, has been transferred from a radio school at Madison, Wis. to Chanute Field, at Rantoul, Ill.
