1682 - Thomas CLARKE born.  Thomas was the son of William CLARKE and Hannah WEEDEN.


1699 - Elizabeth PIERCE died in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.  Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas PIERCE and Eliza ________.  


1705 - George MARIS died in Springfield, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.  George was the son of George MARIS and Alice COLLIER.  George was my 10x great-grandfather.


1748 - Thomas PHILBRICK died in Hampton, Province of New Hampshire.  Thomas was the son of Samuel PHILBRICK and Jane ________.  Thomas was my 7x great-grandfather.


1753 - John WRIGHT married Hannah FESSENDEN in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.  John was the son of Robert WRIGHT and Elizabeth HENDERSON.  Hannah was the daughter of William FESSENDEN and Martha BROWN.  They were my 7x great-grandparents.


1755 - Martha BEALS born.  Martha was the daughter of Jacob BEALS and Elizabeth GRIEST.


1761 - David PEFLEY born.  David was the son of Jacob PEFLEY and Esther ________.


1765 - Peter ANTONIDES born.  Peter was the son of Pieter ANTONIDES and Catherine VANDERVEER.


1770 - Joel HIATT born in Guilford County, North Carolina.  Joel was the son of William HIATT and Charity WILLIAMS.


1798 - Elizabeth ALDERMAN born.  Elizabeth was the daughter of James ALDERMAN and Catherine WARNER.


1798 - Esther JESSOP married Nathan NEWBY.  Esther was the daughter of Thomas JESSOP and Mary BEALS.


1800 - Louhaney SWAFFORD born in South Carolina.  Louhaney was the daughter of Aarron SWAFFORD and Lucinda HOWARD.


1811 - Elizabeth MILLER born.  Elizabeth was the daughter of George MILLER and Catherine PETRY.


1821 - Joseph HEATON married Mary Ann EVANS.  Joseph was the son of Thomas HEATON and Susan TAYLOR.


1840 - Christopher SILLS born in Jackson Township, Champaign County, Ohio.  Christopher was the son of George SILLS and Mary GRIMES.  Christopher was Eileen's 2x great-grandfather.


1848 - Emina PETRY born in Bearcreek Township, Jay County, Indiana.  Emina was the daughter of Solomon PETRY and Anna SHURLEY.


1849 - Mary C. JACOBS married Benjamin Franklin MARKLEY in Brown County, Ohio.  Mary was the daughter of James Thomas JACOBS and Isabella FEILY.


1869 - John Spencer CUMMINGS born in Savannah, Tennessee.  John was the son of Wyatt CUMMINGS and Margaret HENSON.


1872 - John Preston METZNER born.  John was the son of Louis Napoleon METZNER and Henrietta WEAVER.


1877 - Christian Friedrich KAHRE married Josephine Hanna WERNER in St. Louis, Missouri.  Christian was the son of Heinrich Hermann KAHRE and Anna Maria Sophia RULLMANN.


1886 - Abner CUMMINGS died in Maury County, Tennessee.  


1887 - Bessie VINSON born in Madison County, Indiana.  Bessie was the daughter of Albert Morris VINSON and Anna L. WRIGHT.


1892 - John James CUMMINGS born in Dyersburg, Dyer County, Tennessee.  John was the son of St. Patrick Merlin CUMMINGS and Melinda Ellen PACE.


1899 - Opal Woolston CHEW died in Salamonia, Jay County, Indiana.  Opal was the daughter of William Anderson CHEW and Emma Susan STRAIGHT.


1912 - Wendel P. METZNER born in Jay County, Indiana.  Wendel was the son of Irvin G. METZNER and Julia STONE.


1926 - Luther St. Patrick CUMMINGS born in Sedgwick, Lawrence County, Arkansas.  Luther was the son of St. Patrick Merlin CUMMINGS and Bessie Lee IVEY.  Luther was Eileen's dad.


1964 - Walter WILDT died in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana.  Walter was the son of Johannes Heinrich WILD and Emilie DEUTSCH.


1977 - Effie Mabel THOMPSON died in Richmond, Missouri.  Effie was the daughter of William Burrell LEE and Margaret Jane SWAFFORD.


2006 - Violet OSBORN died in Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri.  Violet was the daughter of Tom BOSLEY and Bessie Lee IVEY.

William Clifford LeMaster's Second Marriage

FamilySearch recently added the statewide index to Colorado marriage records, 1900-1939.  There is no index yet, but by browsing the records I located the second marriage of my paternal great-granduncle, William Clifford LeMaster, whom I've written about before.

A couple of interesting facts emerged from finding this document.  First, it does confirm that William was remarried, and that the marriage was in Colorado.  Copies of his will had mentioned his wife, Parnell, and that finding was the first I had known of her.  She was the organist in the 1920 census working at the theater that William owned.   Another interesting fact to me is that they were married on July 22, 1921 and by the next July, William was dead.  His cause of death is still unknown, though newspaper reports state he died at Sedalia.  He is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

1745 - Elizabeth HUBBARD born.  Elizabeth was the daughter of Matthew HUBBARD and Mary SAMMONS.


1760 - Nelly MADISON born.  Nelly was the daughter of James MADISON and Eleanor Rose CONWAY.


1761 - Joshua MILLS born.  Joshua was the son of Henry MILLS and Hannah THORNBURG.


1761 - John MAXSON born.  John was the son of Joseph MAXSON and Elizabeth DAVIS.


1781 - Sarah WILLIAMS married Samuel STANLEY in Guilford County, North Carolina.  Sarah was the daughter of Richard WILLIAMS and Prudence BEALS.


1786 - Stephen SCHLOTHAUER born.  Stephen was the son of Johann Michael SCHLOTHAUER and Elizabeth PETRY.


1799 - Joseph COOK married Lydia WICKERSHAM.  Joseph was the son of Thomas COOK and Sarah MILLS.


1799 - Thomas COOK married Mary SHELLEY in Guilford County, North Carolina.  Thomas was the son of Thomas COOK and Sarah MILLS.


1800 - Nancy Albertson CHEW born in Gloucester County, New Jersey.  Nancy was the daughter of John Albertson CHEW and Nancy Margaret WOOLFORD.

1866 - Sarah CARTER died in Hendricks County, Indiana.  Sarah was the daughter of John BEALS and Susannah JOHNSON.


1867 - James CROCKETT married Laura S. GRAY in Monroe County, Indiana.  James was the son of James CROCKETT and Louisa OOLEY.


1870 - Prince Albert CUMMINGS born in Tennessee.  Prince was the son of Wyatt CUMMINGS and Margaret HENSON.


1891 - Aaron SWAFFORD married Nancy Alice PATTON.  Aaron was the son of Aaron SWAFFORD and Eliza Jane TAYLOR.


1895 - Clarence Valentine WILD born in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. Clarence was the son of Johannes Heinrich WILD and Emilie DEUTSCH.


1898 - Edna Louise WRIGHT born.  Edna was the daughter of Charles Riggs WRIGHT and Bertha Cordelia LEONARD.


1905 - Zelma Valentine KING born.  Zelma was the daughter of Benjamin Zellen KING and Elizabeth Ann SCHELL.


1913 - Lydia Marie BARNES born.  Lydia was the daughter of William Henry BARNES and Martha Rowena SWAFFORD.


1915 - Vera Delphene HALEY married Clarence STUBER in Jay County, Indiana. Vera was the daughter of Eli Weldon HALEY and Cora Belle METZNER.


1917 - Perry D. GROENENDYKE died.  Perry was the son of Elias GROENENDYKE and Hester TEAFORD.
