Spring Break 1982 we had snow in April. Indiana weather. Sign states April 6, 1982 Chattanooga or Bust.  We were going down to visit my cousins in Tennessee.

1688 - John MENDENHALL born in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  John was the son of John MENDENHALL and Elizabeth MARIS.  John was my 8x great-grandfather.


1701 - Johannes SCHERCH born.  Johannes was the son of Ulrich SCHURCH and Barbara GRUNDBACHER.


1739 - John CHEW married Ann JENNINGS.  John was the son of Richard CHEW and Frances TATEM.


1744 - Col. Richard TAYLOR born in Orange County, Virginia.  Richard was the son of Zachary TAYLOR and Elizabeth LEE.


1753 - Tacy MAXSON born.  Tacy was the daughter of John MAXSON and Sarah BURDICK.


1787 - Anna Nancy PETRY born in York, York County, Pennsylvania.  Anna was the daughter of George PETRY and Maria Catharina KALTREIDER.


1822 - Jonathan B. HIGGINS born in Flemington, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.  Jonathan was the son of Judiah HIGGINS and Mary QUICK.


1834 - Frances CHEW married Joshua COIT.  Frances was the daughter of Coleby CHEW and Frances LEARNED.


1853 - Peter Kirkpatrick SWAFFORD married Mary Ann CROCKETT in Owen County, Indiana.  Peter was the son of Larkin SWAFFORD and Nancy ________.  Mary Ann was the daughter of David CROCKETT and Mary Ann NOSLER.  They were my 4x great-grandparents.


1858 - Henry Mills POE born in Morgan County, Indiana.  Henry was the son of Isaac S. POE and Hannah MILLS.


1861 - Pleasant E. POE born in Morgan County, Indiana.  Pleasant was the son of Isaac S. POE and Hannah MILLS.


1880 - Isaac C. CHIVLARE married Emily J. PHILLIPS in Yankeetown, Warrick County, Indiana.  Isaac was the son of Miles CHIVLARE and Louisa Jane BOYER.


1889 - Jessie May PATTERSON born in LaCygne, Linn County, Kansas.  Jessie was the daughter of Norman Delmar PATTERSON and Alice Elizabeth LACEY.


1893 - William SYFERT born.  William was the son of George B. SYFERT and Margaret Ann McLANE.


1910 - Matilda P. DAMM married Marion KING in Vanderburgh County, Indiana.  Matilda was the daughter of Frederick Henry DAMM and Wilhelmina SCHNEIDER.

1707 - Rose HIGGINS married Timothy BLOOMFIELD.  Rose was the daughter of Jedediah HIGGINS and Mary NEWBOLD.

1720 - Mary JONES born in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Mary was the daughter of Joseph JONES and Patience BEALS.


1724 - Stephen MENDENHALL died.  Stephen was the son of Thomas MENDENHALL and Joane STROADE.


1755 - Relief PIERCE born.  Relief was the daughter of Samuel PIERCE and Abigail ________.


1777 - John WHITE born.  John was the son of John WHITE and Rebecca HAINES.


1783 - Elizabeth CHEW married Samuel STILES.  Elizabeth was the daughter of Rev. Jesse CHEW and Mary RICHARDS.


1787 - Elizabeth PETRY born in York, York County, Pennsylvania.  Elizabeth was the daughter of George PETRY and Maria Catharina KALTREIDER.


1787 - Hannah HILLYARD married Hugh COSTILL in Burlington County, New Jersey.  Hannah was the daughter of Isaac HILLIER and Sarah HAINES.


1796 - Joseph WRIGHT born.  Joseph was the son of Robert WRIGHT and Catherine APPLEGATE.


1810 - Sarah JACOBS born in Adams County, Ohio.  Sarah was the daughter of James Thomas JACOBS and Isabella FEILY.


1812 - Polly STOUT married John HARRIS.  Polly was the daughter of Obediah STOUT and Mary McBRIDE.


1824 - John HIATT married Rebecca UNTHANK.  John was the son of Bennajah HIATT and Elizabeth WHITE.


1829 - Mary Ann NOSLER born.  Mary Ann was the daughter of John NOSLER and Nancy HIBBS.


1831 - Claud Francis MIGUET born in Lesoul, Houtsone, France.  Claud was the son of John Peter MIGUET and Frances ________.  Claud was Corinne's 4x great-grandfather.


1868 - Anna Caroline Wilhelmine RITT born.  Anna was the daughter of Karl Ludwig RITT and Anna Maria Louisa Catherine KAHRE.


1871 - Mary Ann SWAFFORD married Charles Voltine LYBARGER in Richmond, Missouri.  Mary Ann was the daughter of John Calvin SWAFFORD and Mary Ellen SHIRLEY.


1882 - Jane HODGSON died.  Jane was the daughter of John Bowater BEALS and Lois BRANSON.


1888 - Joseph Glass McPHEETERS died in Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana.  Joseph was the son of Charles McPHEETERS and Martha GLASS.


1889 - Elmer LEE born.  Elmer was the son of John Edward LEE and Sarah SWAFFORD.


1911 - Virgil Henry SWAFFORD born in Ray County, Missouri.  Virgil was the son of Henry SWAFFORD and Ina Lee HUBBARD.


1931 - Maxine Elizabeth LeMASTER died in Salamonia, Jay County, Indiana.  Maxine was the daughter of Gerald Walker LeMASTER and Mabel Agnes KANTNER.


1949 - Edwin Karl Friedrich RITT died.  Edwin was the son of Karl Ludwig RITT and Anna Maria Louisa Catherine KAHRE.


1991 - Lawrence Sylvester MILLER died in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana.  Lawrence was the son of Mathias MILLER and Elizabeth SCHAEFFER.
