Wordless Wednesday : Piper & Grandpa

Piper and Grandpa, Evansville, Indiana 18 Feb 2012

Being a grandpa changes everything.  Piper reminds me so much of her mother when she was a baby.  I can't wait to see her again!

I hope I'm around to teach her things and tell her about her heritage. Maybe one day she will read this blog.  My own grandfathers were gone when I was young, so young that I don't really remember them.

April Fool ' 1912

Dear friend I will do as I promised.  This is 4 o'clock I just got up have been in bed all day except an hour at noon haven't eat a bite yet.  My cold is much better but I have the sick head ache.  The weather is bad from the looks of it.

I remain your friend.
