Nathaniel married secondly circa 1812 probably in Gloucester Co., NJ to Mary West, daughter of Job and Sarah (Jackson) West. Mary was born June 17, 1795 in New Jersey and died February 27, 1848 in New Jersey. Nathaniel married thirdly December 10, 1848 in Iowa to Nancy Mosier. Nathaniel died January 24, 1866 in Mahaska Co., IA.

Nathaniel was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal church.
