Rebecca was December 12, 1715, the daughter of Ebenezer and Martha (Gilpin) Warner. Rebecca married December 23, 1735 to Moses Hurlbut, son of Joseph and Mary (Castle) Hurlbut. Moses was born August 26, 1714 in Woodbury, CT and died August 3, 1763 in Roxbury, CT. Rebecca died after 1747.

Today's featured relative in my database is my daughter's 4th-great grandfather, Johann Jacob Deutsch.
Johann was born December 11, 1821 in Klein Engersen, Saxony and married before 1848 to Doris Elisabeth Schutte. Doris was was born in 1827 in Klein Engersen and died June 10, 1903 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN. Johann died in September 30, 1863.
Johann and family emigrated to the United States about July 1854 to New Orleans, LA. During the Civil War, he first enlisted [conscripted?] into the Confederate army, and then on June 24, 1862 enlisted in Co. D, 13th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry in the Union army.
Doris remarried as her second husband to John M. Doelitsch between 1863-1866. John was born circa 1824 in Saxony and died after 1870 census.
