Edna was born February 7, 1897 in Madison Co., IN, the daughter of William Francis and Clara (PENNISTEN) PIERCE. Edna married June 19, 1915 in Madison Co., IN to Virgil Lee WRIGHT, son of John William and Ellen (KING) WRIGHT. Virgil was born July 6, 1894 in Madison Co., IN and died March 25, 1972 in Madison Co., IN. Edna died March 3, 1968 in Madison Co., IN. Both are buried in Parkview Cemetery, Alexandria, IN.

Today's featured relative in my database is my paternal 3rd-great grandmother, Caroline Bishop Woolston.

Caroline was born February 6, 1826 in Vincentown, Burlington Co., NJ, the daughter of Abel B. and Rachel (Woolston) Woolston. Caroline married December 29, 1842 in New Jersey to Ezekiel Cooper Chew, the son of Nathaniel and Mary (West) Chew. Ezekiel was born January 17, 1822 in Gloucester Co., NJ., and died August 27, 1888 in St. Joseph's Co., IN. Caroline died February 27, 1879 in Rossburg, Stark Co., OH.

Today's featured relative in my database is my paternal 9th-great grandmother, Barbara Kupferschmid.

Barbara was born February 6, 1613/14 in Switzerland, the daughter of Alex. and Verena (Brudeli) Kupferschmid. Barbara married circa 1635 to Ulrich Schürch, son of Casper and Margaret (Trüssel) Schürch. Ulrich was born June 19, 1614. I do not have data on the death dates of either Barbara or Ulrich at this point.
