I never heard anything about that. If I did, I was a young and didn't pay attention.

My maternal 6th-great grandaunt, Sarah HEATON, married on this date in 1735 to Matthew WILLIAMS. Sarah was the daughter of Samuel and Susan (HAWES) HEATON, and the older sister of my John HEATON. Sarah was born September 13, 1707. I do not have dates of birth or death, nor parentage for Matthew. Nothing further is known at this time.
My paternal 4th-great grandaunt, Amanda MOULTON, was born on this date in 1802. Amanda was the daughter of John and Avis (HURLBUT) MOULTON, and the younger sister of my Selah MOULTON. Nothing further is known at this time.
My paternal 5th-great granduncle, Nathan DAVIS, was born on this date in 1740 in Westerly, Rhode Island. Nathan was the son of Thomas William and Tacy (CRANDALL) DAVIS, and the younger brother of my Elisabeth DAVIS. Nathan was married January 19, 1761 to Ann GIFFORD. Ann was born January 17, 1742. They had 14 children and lived in Salem, Virginia. Ann died in 1820. Nathan died before October 17, 1814 in Salem, Virginia.

My maternal 3rd-great grandaunt, Malinda Lynn HEATON, married on this date in 1852 in Brown County, Ohio to Jasper STRATTON. Malinda was the daughter of James R. and Elizabeth (JACOBS) HEATON, and the older sister of my Rebecca HEATON. Malinda was born May 7, 1834 in Brown County, Ohio. Jasper was born in 1834 in Brown County, Ohio. Malinda died May 7, 1915 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. Nothing further is known at this time.
My maternal 6th-great granduncle, John NOSLER, married on this date in 1792 in Montgomery County, Virginia to Mary WYLE. John was the son of Bostin and Sophia (________) NOSLER, and the older brother of my Conrad NOSLER. I do not have the dates of birth or death, nor parentage for Mary. John was born circa 1768 and died between 1836 and 1837 in Putnam County, Indiana. Nothing further is known at this time.
My paternal 2nd-great grandmother, Mary Jane SHERRICK, married on this date in 1897 in Jay County, Indiana to Robert N. KIMBLE. Mary's first husband, George Washington HALEY, had passed away in 1892. Mary was born January 13, 1844 in Ashland County, Ohio, the daughter of David and Susan (JACOBS) SHERRICK. Robert was born August 1841 in Ohio. They lived in Noble Township, Jay County, Indiana. Robert died sometime after the 1900 census. Mary died January 15, 1916 in Jay County, Indiana and is buried in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Jay County, Indiana.
