HALDEMAN - Susan Jane Haldeman, nee Haley, was born in Fairfield Co.., Ohio, March 7, 1844, and died at her home in Morrow Co., O., August 30, 1899, aged 55 y., 5 m., and 23 d.  She was converted to God early in life, and united with the Evangelical Association, remaining a faithful Christian to the day of her death.  Nov. 27, 1862, she was married to Alfred Haldeman.  To them were born 5 sons and 2 daughters.  She was a loving wife and mother, and a good neighbor, and will be sadly missed.  Her husband, 5 sons, 6 grandchildren, 4 sisters and 4 brothers are left to mourn her sudden death.  W.S. Susan was the daughter of George J. and Rachel (GARY) HALEY.  I had shown her name as Susanna in my database.  The children's names were: Vera B., George Allen, Maude, Christian E., Vernon J., Frank J., and Harvey Levi.  In the 1870 census, the family was living in Huron Township, Erie County, Ohio, but by 1880 they were in Troy Township, Morrow County, Ohio.  After Susan's death, Alfred remarried to Mary Anna Stull in Morrow County, Ohio.

1715: Aaron MENDENHALL married Rose PIERSON in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Aaron was the son of John MENDENHALL and Elizabeth MARIS.


1730: Aeltje KOUWENHOVEN married William WILLIAMSEN.  Aeltje was the daughter of Pieter Williamse VAN KOUWENHOVEN.


1733: Hannah CHEW married John DILKS in Gloucester County, New Jersey.  Hannah was the daughter of John CHEW and Sarah JENNINGS.


1758: Wells KENYON born.  Wells was the son of Nathaniel KENYON and Eleanor UTTER.


1761: Daniel BEALS born.  Daniel was the son of Jacob BEALS and Elizabeth GRIEST.


1771: Abner HUNT married Mary POPE in Guilford County, North Carolina.  Abner was the son of Thomas HUNT and Ann BEALS.


1820: Mary PEGG died in Indiana.  Mary was the daughter of John MILLS and Sarah BEALS.


1822: Nathan BALES married Jemima HIATT.  Nathan was the son of Jacob BEALS and Mary ________.


1826: Elizabeth M. PEFLEY born in Virginia.  Elizabeth was the daughter of Solomon PEFLEY and Frances ROOF.


1828: Minerva Ann COOK born.  Minerva was the daughter of James S. COOK and Eunice HUNT.


1863: Catherine E. CUNNINGHAM died in Jay County, Indiana.  Catherine was the daughter of William E. CUNNINGHAM and Rachel LEMASTERS.


1881: Emeline MOULTON died.  Emeline was the daughter of Joel PHILBRICK and Sally FOX.


1986: Lester SWAFFORD died in Bledsoe County, Tennessee.  Lester was the son of George W. SWAFFORD and Elizabeth HAMILTON.

1829: James CHEW married Nancy T. MILLION in St. Clair County, Illinois.  James was the son of Andrew CHEW and Anna Marie BARTHUS.


1832: Mary FAULKNER born.  Mary was the daughter of Solomon FAULKNER and Ruth BEALS.


1836: Anne Marie Louise Charlotte BOLLING born.  Anne was the daughter of Friedrich Wilhelm BOLLING and Anna Marie Louise KAHRE.


1846: Heinrich WEHRLY died in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.  Heinrich was the son of Heinrich WEHRLY and Catherine MOSER.  He was my 4x great-grandfather.


1849: Lydia MOULTON born in Bureau County, Illinois.  Lydia was the daughter of Albert MOULTON and Emeline PHILBRICK.


1849: Daniel FREEZE died.  Daniel was the son of John FRIES and Elizabeth PENCE.


1893: Sarah RICHARDS married Frederick Thomas MUSSELL.  Sarah was the daughter of John Thomas RICHARDS and Mary Jane CROCKETT.


1896: Gerald Walker LeMASTER born in Jay County, Indiana.  He was the son of Luman Cooper LeMASTERS and Barbara Isabel WEHRLY.


1901: William H. WOODS born.  William was the son of William Richard WOODS and Elizabeth Jane HILL.


1903: Percy Charles FULLER married Elle Belle DOLLAHAN in Palestine, Crawford County, Illinois.  Percy was the son of Torrence Illiff FULLER and Nettie Belle STOUT.


1916: Mary Jane KIMBLE died in Jay County, Indiana.  Mary was the daughter of David SHERRICK and Susan JACOBS.  She was my 2x great-grandmother.


1918: George PEOPLES died in Culver, Marshall County, Indiana.  George was the son of Hugh Allen Ballentine PEOPLES and Patsey FISHER.  He was Eileen's 2x great-grandfather.


1994: Frances Jean BRACEY died in High Shoals, Georgia.  Frances was the daughter of Malcolm Watkins SMITH and Virginia Margaret ROLFE.
