Okay, how do you keep track of birthdays of ancestors when I can't keep track of birthday of my grandchildren. Good post. As usual I enjoyed reading.

I create a calendar in my Rootsmagic database of all the birthdays or anniversaries for a particular month. Then I use Google calendar to set a reminder of the event.

I try to work about 1 week ahead, pre-posting the blog entries to show all the birthdays, etc. for that day.

When I hit the 1st full year through, will probably switch to my wife's side of the family.

Amazing wealth of information! It appears that your paternal 3rd-great grandaunt Matilda Jacobs was married to George Cook Jr., the eldest brother of my great-grandmother Elizabeth Cook. I have a little info on George's family if you want it.
