Book : 69th Indiana Volunteer Infantry

Received this email about a book published on the 69th Indiana Vol. Infantry, in which a relative served.

Dear Mr. LeMaster:
I found your website listing Thomas W. Groenendyke, 69th Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and wanted to let you know about a book just published about the 69th. It contains a short work written by Thomas and read at the reunion in 1897. He wrote about a friend and comrade who died at the Battle of Richmond, Kentucky, in 1862. There is also a letter written by him from Lynn Haven, Florida, in 1912.
I am attaching a PDF file with more information and an order blank.

Update : August Gegenheimer Family

In an update to my recent post on the August Gegenheimer family , I did some web searching and located a website that had some information on the Gegenheimer family and a photo of August & Sarah (Haley) Gegenheimer.

I contacted the site owner and will exchange any relevant information that I find out with him.
