Dated at Portland, Ind this 2nd day of July 1920.

This record of the marriage of John Leland LeMaster (1902-1980) and Dortha LeEtta Delauter (1902-1976) was located at the Jay County Historical Society in Portland, Indiana.

John was my paternal great-uncle.  Later in life he was a teacher and principal, but at the time of his marriage he was a rubber worker and his bride was a telephone operator.

Dortha's parents were W. Otto Delauter and Pearl Earhart.  John's parents were Luman Cooper LeMaster and Barbara Isabelle Wehrly.

Until I found this record I didn't realize they were married in Portland.  I do not know of any significance of the clergyman who performed the ceremony.
