1655: Thomas CHENEY married Jane ATKINSON in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.  Thomas was the son of William CHENEY and Margaret COLE.  They were my 10x great-grandparents.


1662: Richard HERITAGE married Mary TIMMS.  They were my 10x great-grandparents.


1695: John CRANDALL born.  John was the son of Samuel CRANDALL and Sarah COLBY.


1707: Deborah STILLMAN born.  Deborah was the daughter of George STILLMAN and Deborah CRANDALL.


1712: Peter KOUWENHOVEN born.  Peter was the son of Pieter Willemse VAN KOUWENHOVEN and Patience DAWS.


1721: James WRIGHT born in Falkland, Fife, Scotland.  James was the son of Robert WRIGHT and Elizabeth HENDERSON.


1727: Joseph CLARKE died in Westerly, Rhode Island.  Joseph was the son of Joseph CLARKE and Margaret Turner.  He was my 8x great-grandfather.


1752: William PIERCE born.  William was the son of Josiah PIERCE and Miriam COOK.


1765: Phineas MAXSON born.  Phineas was the son of Samuel MAXSON and Mary DOWNING.


1749: Michael CHEW died in Deptford Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey.  Michael was the son of John CHEW and Sarah JENNINGS.


1793: Steffan PETRY died in York County, Pennsylvania.  Steffan was my 5x great-grandfather.


1795: Joseph HEATON born in Loudon County, Virginia.  Joseph was the son of Thomas HEATON and Sarah TAYLOR.


1835: John Ballinger SMITH born in Greene County, Ohio.  John was the son of Seth SMITH and Nancy CLEMONS.


1836: Cynthia BALES married Samuel Houston MYERS.  Cynthia was the daughter of Solomon BEALS and Elizabeth JOHN.


1838: Jeremiah POE married Margaret BRAY in Morgan County, Indiana.  Jeremiah was the son of John W. POE and Elizabeth RAINS.


1849: Sidney YOUNG born in Green Creek Township, Sandusky County, Ohio.  Sidney was the son of Noah YOUNG and Orlintha BROWN.


1855: William Fleming McLANE married Elizabeth GUFFY in Putnam County, Ohio.  William was the son of George William McLANE and Margaret A. FLEMMING.


1859: John Wesley KING married Mary Catherine HENDRICKS in Madison County, Indiana.  John was the son of William KING and Nancy Ann OWINGS.


1865: Caty CURL died.  Caty was the daughter of Silas WILLIAMS and Mary HUNT.


1866: Ida Bell MILLS born.  Ida was the daughter of Aaron MILLS and Catherine FARMER.


1875: Samuel S. LAMBERTSON born in Preble County, Ohio.  Samuel was the son of Carey W. LAMBERTSON and Clara E. COOK.


1885: Edith SILLS died in Wabash County, Indiana.  Edith was the daughter of Christopher SILLS and Samantha SHELLY.


1889: Eddie DAVIS died in Long Run, West Virginia.  Eddie was the son of Joseph Newton DAVIS and Almeda DAVIS.


1890: Irvin Claude ROCKWELL born.  Irvin was the son of Lynn Lumas ROCKWELL and Beulah Sarah LeMASTERS.


1916: Mary KRATZER died in Schuyler County, Missouri.  Mary was the daughter of James R. HEATON and Elizabeth JACOBS.


1944: Henry MIGUET died.  Henry was the son of Claud Francis MIGUET and Eliza NETCOTT.  He was Corinne's 3x great-grandfather.


1944: Nora Jane McOWEN born and died in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio. Nora was the daughter of Kermit Laverne McOWEN and Evelyn Myrtle RANDALL.


1950: Edwin Everett CHALFANT died.  Edwin was the son of Solomon Elija CHALFANT and Matilda Gregg MAXON.


2007: Kathryn Virginia BOLDING died.  Kathryn was the daughter of John James CUMMINGS and Zella May MERIDETH.

1779: Sarah SUTTON born in Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Cornelius SUTTON and Elizabeth APPLEGATE.  She was my 4x great-grandmother.


1784: Anna SCHLOTHAUER born.  Anna was the daughter of Johann Michael SCHLOTHAUER and Elizabeth PETRY.


1789: Amos MAXSON married Hannah POTTER.  Amos was the son of Torey MAXSON and Martha LANPHERE.


1835: William WARDLAW born.  William was the son of James WARDLAW and Susanna GREEN.


1885: Arthur WILDT born in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana.  Arthur was the son of Johannes Heinrich WILD and Emilie DEUTSCH.  Arthur was Corinne's 2x great-grandfather.


1899: Goldsborough Francis SWAFFORD born in Bledsoe County, Tennessee.  Goldsborough was the son of James Aaron SWAFFORD and Nancy Alice SHERRIL.


1910: Edwin Isaac BUTLER married Cecilla Morse MILLER in San Diego, San Diego County, California.  Edwin was the son of Frank Carlos BUTLER and Clara LEMASTERS.


1917: Nicholas H. SHAW died in Denver, Colorado.  Nicholas was the son of William SHAW and Mary HECK.


1937: John Phillips WILSON died in Auburn, Nebraska.  John was the son of Senator Winfield PHILLIPS and Una Maude LEMASTERS.

My paternal 5th-great grandfather, Cornelius SUTTON, married on this date in 1806 in Harrison County, Virginia to Elisabeth DAVIS.  Cornelius was the son of Amos and Jane (CLAWSON) SUTTON.  Elisabeth was the daughter of Thomas William and Tacy (CRANDALL) DAVIS.  Cornelius was born October 29, 1750 in New Jersey.  Elisabeth was born in 1746 in New Jersey.  Elisabeth died 1807 in New Salem, Virginia.  Cornelius died September 30, 1850 in West Union, Doddridge County, Virginia.  


My maternal 5th-great granduncle, Bennett PIERCE, was born on this date in 1771.  Bennett was the son of Seth and Bethiah (FIELD) PIERCE, and the older brother of my Gordon PIERCE.  Bennett died March 17, 1773.  Nothing further is known at this time.


My maternal 5th-great grandaunt, Elizabeth PIERCE, was born on this date in 1788.  Elizabeth was the daughter of Seth and Bethiah (FIELD) PIERCE, and the younger sister of my Gordon PIERCE.  Elizabeth married Chester COLLINS.  Nothing further is known at this time.


My maternal great-grandaunt, Lillian PIERCE, was born on this date in 1902 in Madison County, Indiana.  Lillian was the daughter of William Francis and Clara (PENISTEN) PIERCE, and the younger sister of my Edna Muriel PIERCE. Lillian died August 11, 1921 in Alexandria, Madison County, Indiana.  


My maternal 6th-great grandfather, Seth PIERCE, was born on this date in 1744 in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.  Seth was the son of Seth and Elizabeth (NYE) PIERCE.  Seth married April 17, 1767 to Bethiah FIELD, daughter of Bennett and Elizabeth (SPOFFORD) FIELD.  Bethiah was born April 8, 1746 in Stafford, Windham County, Connecticut.  They had 12 children.  Bethiah died September 18, 1807.  Seth died in 1835 in Homer, Cortland County, New York.

My maternal great-grandparents, Clemon Beals LAMBERTSON and June Kirk DAVIS, were married on this date in 1917 in Monroe County, Indiana.  Clemon was the son of Charles Wilson and Pearl May (BEALS) LAMBERTSON.  June was the daughter of Ida DAVIS.  They lived in Elwood and Greentown, Indiana where they raised 4 children.  Clemon was a cabinetmaker for Sellers.  June died March 20, 1951 in Elwood, Madison County, Indiana.  Clemon died March 18, 1994 in Anderson, Madison County, Indiana.  Both are buried in the Elwood Cemetery, Elwood, Madison County, Indiana.

My paternal 7th-great grandfather, John CRANDALL, was married on this date in 1738 to Elizabeth LEWIS, daughter of James and Sarah (BABCOCK) LEWIS.  John was born circa 1682 in Westerly, Rhode Island, the son of Joseph and Deborah (BURDICK) CRANDALL.  Elizabeth was born circa 1693.  I do not have her parentage. They had 2 children.  John had previously been married twice before.  John died January 1767 in Hopkinton, Rhode Island.

My maternal 4th-great granduncle, Peter GROENENDYKE, was married on this date in 1821 in Wayne County, Indiana to Hannah BEARD, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (DICKS) BEARD.  Peter was the son of James and Joannah (ANTONIDES) GROENENDYKE, and the older brother of my Elias GROENENDYKE.  Peter was born May 2, 1800 in New Jersey.  Hannah's birth was recorded 1803, 12th month, 12th day at Springfield Monthly Meeting, Guilford County, North Carolina.  They had 4 children.  Peter died August 24, 1854 in Montgomery County, Indiana.  Hannah died November 19, 1886.

My maternal great-granduncle, Gerald LAMBERTSON, was born on this date in 1906 in Hamilton County, Indiana.  Gerald was the son of Charles Wilson and Pearl May (BEALS) LAMBERTSON, and the younger brother of my Clemon LAMBERTSON.  Gerald died October 4, 1906 in Hamilton County, Indiana and is buried in the Cicero Cemetery, Cicero, Hamilton County, Indiana.

My maternal great-grandaunt, Geraldine LAMBERTSON, was born on this date in 1906 in Hamilton County, Indiana.  Geraldine was the daughter of Charles Wilson and Pearl May (BEALS) LAMBERTSON, and the younger sister of my Clemon LAMBERTSON.  Geraldine died October 5, 1906 in Hamilton County, Indiana and is buried in the Cicero Cemetery, Cicero, Hamilton County, Indiana.

My maternal 2nd-great grandaunt, Lola May LAMBERTSON, was born on this date in 1883 in Hamilton County, Indiana.  Lola was the daughter of Carey W. and Clara E. (COOK) LAMBERTSON, and the younger sister of my Charles Wilson LAMBERTSON.  Lola married April 15, 1905 in Hamilton County, Indiana to Omer A. WHISLER, son of Joseph W. and Mary Francis (PAUL) WHISLER.  Omer was born February 13, 1869 in Atlanta, Hamilton County, Indiana.  They had 2 children.  Omer died May 22, 1946.  Lola died November 26, 1964 in Hamilton County, Indiana.  Both are buried in the Arcadia Cemetery, Arcadia, Hamilton County, Indiana.

My paternal 3rd-great granduncle, Samuel MOULTON, was born on this date in 1825 in Rutland County, Vermont.  Samuel was the son of Selah and Lydia (FENNEL) MOULTON, and the younger brother of my Albert MOULTON.  Samuel died December 4, 1832 in West Rutland, Vermont.

My paternal 6th-great grandfather, Thomas William DAVIS, was born on this date in 1719 in Westerly, Rhode Island.  Thomas was the son of John and Elizabeth (MAXSON) DAVIS.  Thomas married December 8, 1737 in Westerly, Rhode island to Tacy CRANDALL, daughter of John F. and Mary (________) CRANDALL.  Tacy was born circa 1720 in Westerly, Rhode Island.  They had 7 children.  Tacy died June 1, 1795 in White Day Creek, Monongalia County, Virginia.  Thomas died July 15, 1791 in White Day Creek, Monongalia County, Virginia.

My maternal 6th-great grandaunt, Sarah HEATON, married on this date in 1735 to Matthew WILLIAMS.  Sarah was the daughter of Samuel and Susan (HAWES) HEATON, and the older sister of my John HEATON.  Sarah was born September 13, 1707.  I do not have dates of birth or death, nor parentage for Matthew. Nothing further is known at this time.

My paternal 4th-great grandaunt, Amanda MOULTON, was born on this date in 1802.  Amanda was the daughter of John and Avis (HURLBUT) MOULTON, and the younger sister of my Selah MOULTON.  Nothing further is known at this time.

My paternal 5th-great granduncle, Nathan DAVIS, was born on this date in 1740 in Westerly, Rhode Island.  Nathan was the son of Thomas William and Tacy (CRANDALL) DAVIS, and the younger brother of my Elisabeth DAVIS.  Nathan was married January 19, 1761 to Ann GIFFORD.  Ann was born January 17, 1742.  They had 14 children and lived in Salem, Virginia.  Ann died in 1820.  Nathan died before October 17, 1814 in Salem, Virginia.

My paternal 5th-great grandparents, Ephraim MAXSON and Elisabeth DAVIS, were married on this date in 1764 in Monmouth County, New Jersey.  Ephraim was the son of Joseph and Bethia (MAXSON) MAXSON.  Elisabeth was the daughter of Thomas William and Tacy (CRANDALL) DAVIS.  Ephraim was born 1743 in Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey.  Elisabeth was born 1746 in New Jersey.  They had 6 children.  Ephraim died September 10, 1795 in New Salem, Virginia.  Elisabeth died 1807 in New Salem, Virginia.

My maternal 4th-great grandaunt, Nancy T. POE, married on this date in 1845 in Morgan County, Indiana to Aaron RAINS.  Nancy was the daughter of John W. and Elizabeth (RAINS) POE, and the older sister of my Isaac S. POE.  I do have her date of birth or death.  I do not have dates of birth, death or parentage for Aaron.  Nothing further is known at this time.

My paternal 3rd-great grandaunt, Matilda JACOBS, married on this date in 1847 in Wayne County, Ohio to George COOK.  Matilda was the daughter of David and Barbara (BYERS) JACOBS, and the older sister of my Susan JACOBS.  Matilda was born April 7, 1824 in Warrington Township, York County, Pennsylvania.  George was born June 11, 1818 in York County, Pennsylvania.  They had 5 children.  George died September 14, 1887 in Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio.  Matilda died May 27, 1892 in Hiawatha, Brown County, Kansas.

My paternal 5th-great granduncle, Nathan MAXSON, married on this date in 1764 in Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey to Elizabeth BROWN.  Nathan was the son of Joseph and Bethia (MAXSON) MAXSON, and the older brother of my Ephraim MAXSON.  I do not have the parentage of Elizabeth.  Nathan was born September 30, 1736 in Westerly, Rhode Island.  Nothing further is known at this time.


My maternal 5th-great granduncle, Elijah PIERCE, was born on this date in 1781.  Elijah was the son of Seth and Bethiah (FIELD) PIERCE, and the younger brother of my Gordon PIERCE. Elijah married February 8, 1801 to Patty MOULTON.  Patty was born February 5, 1782.  They had 5 children.  Patty died April 17, 1838.  Elijah died April 7, 1832.,


My paternal grandaunt, Freda Claire LeMASTER, was born on this date in 1904 in Salamonia, Jay County, Indiana.  Freda was the daughter of Luman Cooper and Barbara Isabel (WEHRLY) LeMASTERS, and the older sister of my Ord Wehrly LeMASTER.  Freda married November 3, 1928 to James Orville LaFOLLETTE.  James was born August 9, 1905 in Cambridge, Ohio.  They had 2 children.  Freda died April 25, 1979.


My paternal 3rd-great granduncle, Stephen M. YOUNG, was born on this date in 1825.  Stephen was the son of Phillip and Nancy Ann (McLANE) YOUNG, and the younger brother of my Nancy YOUNG.  Stephen married November 2, 1847 to Mary WOODRUFF.  I do not have dates of birth or death, nor parentage for Mary.  Stephen died January 25, 1903.  Nothing further known at this time.

My maternal 4th-great grandfather, William KING, married on this date in 1834 in Wayne County, Indiana to Nancy Ann OWENS/OWINGS.  William was born circa 1790 in North Carolina.  Nancy was his second wife.  Nancy was born November 17, 1817 in North Carolina, the daughter of James OWENS.  They raised 8 children in Madison and Wabash Counties, Indiana.  William died May 7, 1869 in Wabash County, Indiana.  Nancy died July 13, 1887 in Wabash County, Indiana.  Both are buried at the Dora Cemetery, Wabash County, Indiana.

My paternal 5th-great granduncle, William DAVIS, was born on this date in 1758.  William was the son of Thomas William and Tacy (CRANDALL) DAVIS, and the younger brother of my Elisabeth DAVIS.  William married Elizabeth JOHNSON.  Elizabeth was born July 11, 1762.  Elizabeth died January 6, 1845 in Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey.  William died January 6, 1845 in Shrewsubry, Monmouth County, New Jersey.  Nothing further is known at this time.

My paternal 3rd-great granduncle, William METZNER, was born on this date in 1807 in Saxony. William was the son of Jasper and Hannah (REISENBURG) METZNER, and the younger brother of my John METZNER.  William married circa 1848 in Ohio to Barbara POWELL.  Barbara was born July 10, 1828 in Baden.  They had 11 children.  William was a farmer and harness maker.  Barbara died January 27, 1908 in Newark, Licking County, Ohio.  William died June 8, 1882 in St. Louisville, Licking County, Ohio.

John and Mary (MOSHER) MAXSON.  Judith was the daughter of Joseph and Bethiah (HUBBARD) CLARKE.  John was born October 12, 1666 in Westerly, Rhode Island.  Judith was born October 12, 1667 in Newport, Rhode Island.  They had 10 children. John died October 28, 1748.  Judith died July 17, 1747 at Westerly, Rhode Island.

My paternal 3rd-great grandparents, Luman Walker LEMASTERS Sr. and Nancy YOUNG, were married on this date in 1832 in Shelby County, Ohio.  Luman was the son of Jacob and Hannah (________) LEMASTERS.  Nancy was the daughter of Phillip and Nancy Ann (McLANE) YOUNG.  Luman was born March 11, 1808 in Mason County, Virginia.  Nancy was born June 2, 1812 in Pickaway County, Ohio.  They raised 11 children in Shelby County, Ohio and Jay County, Indiana.  Luman died April 15, 1888 in Jay County, Indiana.  Nancy died August 26, 1904 in Salamonia, Jay County, Indiana.

My paternal 5th-great granduncle, Nathan DAVIS, married on this date in 1761 to Ann GIFFORD.  Nathan was the son of Thomas William and Tacy (CRANDALL) DAVIS, and the younger brother of my Elisabeth DAVIS.  Nathan was born May 9, 1740 in Westerly, Rhode Island.  Ann was born January 17, 1742.  They had 14 children.  Ann died in 1820.  Nathan died before October 17, 1814 in Salem, Harrison County, Virginia.

My maternal 6th-great grandaunt, Mary DAVIS, married on this date in 1759 to Elisha STILLMAN.  Mary was the daughter of John and Elizabeth (MAXSON) DAVIS, and the younger sister of my Thomas William DAVIS.  Mary was born December 5, 1737.  Elisha was born April 25, 1772, the son of George and Deborah (CRANDALL) STILLMAN.  They raised a family of 11 children.  George died on July 26, 1796.  Mary died June 16, 1785.

My paternal 4th-great grandmother, Sarah SUTTON, was born on this date in 1779 in Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey.  Sarah was the daughter of Cornelius and Elizabeth (APPLEGATE) SUTTON.  Sarah married February 23, 1797 in Harrison County, Virginia to Jesse MAXSON, son of Ephraim and Elisabeth (DAVIS) MAXSON.  Jesse was born October 8, 1772 in Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey.  They raised a family of 12 children and moved to Clark County, Ohio.  Jesse died March 24, 1851 in Clark County, Ohio.  Sarah died March 18, 1863 in Clark County, Ohio. Both are buried in the Asbury Methodist Episcopal Cemetery, Pike Township, Clark County, Ohio.

My paternal 3rd-great grandparents, George J. HALEY and Rachel H. GARY, were married on this date in 1835 in Hardin County, Ohio.  George J. was born December 14, 1814 in Basel, Switzerland.  Rachel was born March 25, 1816 in Fairfield County, Ohio.  George was a minister of the Evangelical Association and raised his family in Fairfield, Marion, Morrow and Erie Counties, Ohio.  They had 10 children.  George died February 27, 1888 in Huron Township, Erie County, Ohio.  Rachel died November 25, 1897 in Erie County, Ohio.  Both are buried in the Scotts Cemetery, Huron, Erie County, Ohio.

My paternal 3rd-great grandaunt, Sarah CHEW, married on this date in 1829 to John C. EASTLACK.  Sarah was the daughter of Rev. Nathaniel and Mary (WEST) CHEW, and the older sister of my Ezekiel Cooper CHEW.  I do not have the birth dates or parentage of John.  Sarah died in 1834.  Nothing further is known at this time.

My paternal great-granduncle, Martin Nimrod WEHRLY, married on this date in 1914 to Cora BURLEY.  Martin was the son of William P. and Olive Jane (SMITH) WEHRLY, and the younger brother of my Barbara Isabel WEHRLY.  Martin was born April 5, 1888 in Madison Township, Jay County, Indiana.  Cora was born in 1882.  They lived in New Castle, Henry County, Indiana.  Martin died February 5, 1954 and Cora died in 1972.

My paternal 3rd-great grandaunt, Hannah MAXSON, married on this date in 1824 to Samuel LIPPENCOTT.  Hannah was the daughter of Jesse and Sarah (SUTTON) MAXSON, and the older sister of my Prudence MAXSON.  Hannah was born March 24, 1806 in Clark County, Ohio.  Samuel was born April 22, 1803 in Pike Township, Clark County, Ohio, the son of Samuel and Amy (MAXSON) LIPPENCOTT.  They had 10 children.  Samuel died November 16, 1859 in Ohio.  Hannah died in 1892.

My paternal 5th-great granduncle, John DAVIS, was born on this date in 1754.  John was the son of Thomas William and Tacy (CRANDALL) DAVIS, and the younger brother of my Elisabeth DAVIS.  John married circa 1783 in New Jersey to Marvel MAXSON, daughter of Zebulon and Experience (DAVIS) MAXSON.  Marvel was born May 22, 1768 in Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey.  They had 7 children.  John died May 22, 1842 in Lewis County, Virginia.  Marvel died 1813 in Mad River Township, Clark County, Ohio.

My paternal great-granduncle, Ord Otterbein LeMASTERS, was born on this date in 1876 in Jay County, Indiana.  Ord was the son of Luman Walker and Mary Keziah (CHEW) LEMASTERS, and the younger brother of my Luman Cooper LeMASTERS.  Ord married June 12, 1907 to Emma W.G. GARMHAUSEN, daughter of John and Mary (STRAUSBURGH) GARMHAUSEN.   Emma was born June 15, 1881.  Ord was a doctor in Shelby County, Ohio.  They had 1 child.  Ord died September 15, 1937 in Clinton, Shelby County, Ohio.  Emma died February 10, 1956.  Both are buried in the Graceland Cemetery, Shelby County, Ohio.

My paternal 2nd-great grandaunt, Caroline H. METZNER, was married on this date in 1874 in Jay County, Indiana to James W. HUSTON.  Caroline was the daughter of John and Catherine (YOUNG) METZNER, and the younger sister of my John Adam METZNER.  Caroline was born March 1, 1852 in Jay County, Indiana.  James was born circa 1854 in Ohio.  They had 1 child.  Nothing further known at this time.

My paternal 6th-great grandparents, Thomas William DAVIS and Tacy CRANDALL, were married on this date in 1737 in Westerly, Rhode Island.  Thomas was the son of John and Elizabeth (MAXSON) DAVIS.  Tacy was the daughter of John and Mary (________) CRANDALL.  Thomas was born May 15, 1719 in Westerly, Rhode Island.  Tacy was born circa 1720 in Westerly.  After their marriage, they moved their family to Monongalia County, Virginia.  Thomas died July 15, 1791 at White Day Creek, Monongalia County, Virginia.  Tacy died June 1, 1795 at White Day Creek, Monongalia County, Virginia.  

My paternal 2nd-great granduncle, William F. METZNER, married on this date in 1867 to Mary Ann HALEY in Jay County, Indiana.  William was the son of John and Catherine (YOUNG) METZNER, and the younger brother of my John Adam METZNER.  Mary was the daughter of Sebastian and Lydia (RADER) HALEY.  William was born January 6, 1844 in Licking County, Ohio.  Mary was born in 1846.  They raised a family of 8 children in Bearcreek Township, Jay County, Indiana.  William died in 1929 and Mary in 1926. They are buried in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, Jay County, Indiana.

My maternal 5th-great granduncle, John RAINS, was born on this date in 1787.  John was the son of Anthony and Nancy (GRAHAM) RAINS, and the older brother of my Elizabeth RAINS.  Nothing further is known at this time.

My maternal 2nd-great grandaunt, Mary Jane KING, was born on this date in 1849 in Orestes, Madison County, Indiana.  Mary was the daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (KING) SHAW, and the older sister of my Ellen KING.  Mary married Leroy YOUNG, son of William and Jane (________) YOUNG, on February 8, 1871.  Leroy was born November 14, 1843 in Indiana.  Leroy died March 26, 1893 in Orestes, Madison County, Indiana, and Mary remarried to Robert HICKS.  Mary died April 4, 1935 in Orestes, Madison County, Indiana.  They are buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Alexandria, Madison County, Indiana.

My paternal 5th-great grandaunt, Rebecca HAINES, was born on this date in 1776 in Burlington County, New Jersey.  Rebecca was the daughter of Robert and Rachel (VENICOMB) HAINES, and the younger sister of my Hannah HAINES.  Rebecca died March 15, 1816 in Burlington County, New Jersey.  Nothing further is known at this time.

Family Milestones: December 5th

My maternal 3rd-great grandparents, Daniel KING and Elizabeth SHAW, were married on this date in 1847 in Madison County, Indiana.  Daniel was born September 3, 1820 in Ohio, the son of William and Sarah (SULLIVAN) KING.  Elizabeth was born October 1827 in Ohio, the daughter of William and Mary (HECK) SHAW.  After their marriage they lived in Jackson and Monroe Townships, Madison County, Indiana, where Daniel was a farmer. They raised a family of 10 children.  Daniel died February 24, 1876 in Madison County, Indiana.  Elizabeth remarried to William H. COCHRAN.  Elizabeth died October 10, 1900 in Frankton, Madison County, Indiana.  Both are buried in the Howard Cemetery, Pipe Creek Township, Madison County, Indiana.

My paternal 3rd-great grandaunt, Jane MAXSON, married on this date in 1836 in Clark County, Ohio to Peter SMITH.  Jane was the daughter of Jesse and Sarah (SUTTON) MAXSON, and the older sister of my Prudence MAXSON.  Nothing further is known at this time.

My paternal 6th-great grandaunt, Mary DAVIS, was born on this date in 1737.  Mary was the daughter of John and Elizabeth (MAXSON) DAVIS, and the younger sister of my Thomas William DAVIS.  Mary married on January 3, 1759 to Elisha STILLMAN, son of George and Deborah (CRANDALL) STILLMAN.  They raised a family of 11 children.  Elisha was born April 25, 1722 and died July 26, 1796.  Mary died June 16, 1785.

My maternal 3rd-great granduncle, Origin M. POE, was born on this date in 1862 in Morgan County, Indiana.  Origin was the son of Isaac S. and Hannah (MILLS) POE, and the younger brother of my Elizabeth Caroline POE.  Origin was living in Beaver City, Furnas County, Nebraska in the 1910 census, the last record I have for him.  Nothing further is known at this time.
